The result of innovative and creative work is reflected especially in our CFRP/GFRP moulds. As a further development of our laminating facilities for particularly large surfaced tools, these tool moulds consist of a galvanised nickel coating with a sandwich core which is encased by a CFRP/GFRP fibre composite. Apart from conventional tool moulds without integrated surface heating we also have a particular technical finesse: at the customer’s request we equip our tool moulds with surface heating which heats up the tool mould evenly and as a result eliminates the autoclaves and tempering processes.
Further benefits:
- Surface quality analogous to previous mould concepts
- Minimization of cycle times for the manufacture of the moulds
- Reduction of manufacturing costs in comparison to classical laminating facilities
- Longer durability in comparison to conventional CFRP/GFRP moulds without additional nickel coating
